The pieces in this series constantly evolve throughout the process....gradual layering is followed by removal of media to reveal interesting patterns. The piece is then cut into pieces and tweaked subtly or entirely rearranged to alter the original composition.

Artist Biography:
Marty's aim is to take his woodworking experience and apply it to art. Typically, this will involve wood as his foundation as he explores its various properties either for visual, textural or constructive purposes. Other augmentation with materials, mediums or treatments will usually follow, all with the intended purpose of increasing accessibility for art-lovers.
