About the Item
Subtly colored but highly textured composition by California artist Devon Brockopp-Hammer (American, b. 1986). The bottom layer is composed of white and purple paint applied with a palette knife, creating almost sculptural texture. The next two layers were created with thin paint, allowed to drip and interact with the bottom layer.
Titled, initialed, and dated on verso ("Pastel Nightmare DJBH 2022")
Unframed.
Devon Brockopp-Hammer (American, b. 1986) is an artist from Sacramento, California. He attended the University of Oregon in Eugene and received his BS in Digital Art, with a minor in Liberal Arts from the Robert D. Clark Honors College. He currently resides in Santa Cruz, California.
