About the Item
My inspiration for this elegant & peaceful series came from my loving relationship with God and guidance thru my dreams, painting outdoors in nature, and creating on my dads fabulous museum quality wood panels. Two (2) 24 x 24 unique paintings that were painted outdoors on my favorite nature path & finishing touches in my indoor studio. Eco-friendly oils are layered over and under melted silver leaf, earth pigments, small glass particles, organic beach sand, and international water-based mediums. Shades of light green, metallic silver and bright silver, blush pink, greys, and white & black neutrals with a small amount of taupe-beige. For every painting I create, I include a Poetic Art Statement. "Poetic words emerge while I am painting, which become the statement," says Michele. "It's my intention that these words can be used as a form of meditation with each artwork." Poetic Art Statement for this piece: Camino of Goodness and Mercy. Can be displayed as a versatile 2 piece diptych (with 1" to 2" middle separation) or stand alone pieces on adjacent walls. Due to the nature of metallic elements, light & bright luminosity will present in varied ways depending on lighting. Tract lighting or picture lights above can be beautiful at night to illuminate the original artwork and silver metallics. 1.75" inch gallery wrap edges are lightly textured and painted White.
