Der Künstler Miloslav Cicvárek (1927-2007) ist ein Tschechischer Nachkriegs und Zeitgenössischer Maler, Grafiker, Bildhauer und Restaurator. Das künstlerische Werk von Miloslav Cicvárek lässt sich in drei wesentliche Schaffenslinien gliedern, die jeweils durch charakteristische Farbwelten geprägt sind. In den 1950er- und 1960er-Jahren, einer Phase, die als Periode der „einfachen Abstraktion“ bezeichnet werden kann, widmete er sich vorrangig der figurativen Darstellung, der Genremalerei sowie der Landschaft. In dieser Zeit entstanden Stillleben mit klarer, reduzierter Komposition, in denen Cicvárek seine eigene, expressive Farb- und Formensprache entwickelte. Seine Werke zeichnen sich durch ein feines Gespür für die rhythmische Gliederung der Bildfläche aus – gleichzeitig verstand er es, einzelne Elemente präzise und methodisch auf einem geometrischen Grundraster zu arrangieren.
Dieses abstrakte Triptychon ist charakterisiert durch den Kontrast zwischen der roten Kugel in der Mitte und der sonst leuchtend blauen Fläche. Miloslav Cicvarek lässt tiefenräumliche Effekte durch die Licht- und Schattenkonstellationen entstehen. Das Triptychon verkörpert die Symmetrie von drei formal unterschiedlichen, aber doch zusammengehörigen Teilen. Die Verallgemeinerung von Formen und die Reduktion auf Wesentliche Grundformen sind Elemente der abstrakten Kunst.
