Artist Jason Astorquia presents an abstract snowscape in a cascade of lineated colors. "Ice is melting in ethereal whites as the subdued blue and green earth slowly hints at the lively state of Spring," says Jason. The bright turquoise hues emerge from the pensive dark shades of winter. Jason works with layers of color and texture, honing in on the mood of this transitional time inside and out.
About the Artist
Jason Astorquia recognizes that money is important to the way we think, act, and relate to one another. His “Impressions†series is made up of abstract paintings that are created using the impressions of pennies. Like the mark of consumption on society, Jason repetitively brands his canvases with the mark of physical money. There is a Pop Art element to the work in its bold primary colors, geometric sense of design, and conceptual meaning. His work is as close as you may get to hanging actual money on your wall, a concept that Andy Warhol introduced and played with in his own work. It is evident that there is a lot of planning and precision that goes into each piece. The compositions are like binary code...

Artist Patrick Duffy displays abstract spheres representing the cosmos. He creates a compelling dialogue between the imagination and the fundamentals of all things space. Patrick explores newly learned concepts and a unique way to visualize them through artwork and design. Within his creative techniques, shapes become symbols of time and process—guiding the eye and mind to think of dark solar windswept patterns that are balanced and engaging.
About the Artist
Artist Patrick Duffy creates multi-scaled abstract compositions that seek to realize patterns through process, form, and color. Growing up in the coastal town of Blue Hill, Maine, he started creating artwork very early. He explores time, space, theoretical, and science fiction themes, describing his works as translated visions of paradoxes. Patrick received his BFA from Pratt Institute in 2006, being part of many shows in New York, New England, and Houston, TX. Publications include The New York Times, “Things to See in the Hudson Valley†for the exhibition “Intricate Realities†at the Catskill Arts Society in 2016, as well as “Creating in Color†for Trouvé Magazine Volume 3 in 2015. Since 2019, Patrick has resided in Austin, Texas. He has worked with artists Takashi Murakami (Kai Kai...
