“Ascensions” (Abstract, Contemporary, Calm, Cerebral, Neutral, Canvas Painting)

2021

About the Item

ASCENSIONS 2021 Paris, France A release of tension through surrender. An abstract, contemporary, calm, cerebral and graphic painting. Five orange-red lines - four thin and one thick - dissect from above. Rich black-purple ink bleeds into a diluted white fog. Some residue of hidden drawings are visible, but intentionally not legible. The canvas used for this piece was found on the streets of Paris. It was repurposed by first painting the original side black, then flipping and re-stretching the canvas. Staples are exposed on the outside edge of the canvas. On the back, Artist’s signature along with MMXXI indicates year work was done (2021). Evans Deventer signature stamp is positioned on the back of the stretcher. Canvas is unframed, with the option to add d-hooks and wire on back for hanging upon request. If shipping to the US, option to add a handmade, solid oak 1/2” gallery style frame (1/4” floating between the frame and painting), to nicely finish the piece. We are happy to offer subsidized shipping options. Please inquire for more details.
