Maestro Nikolay Yanakiev was born: 23 June 1954
In the city of Dupnitsa /near the Greek border/, Bulgaria
In 1973 he graduated the Secondary Art School of Fine Arts in Sofia. In 1981 he graduated in Painting at the National Academy of Arts. Since the same year he has been a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists and has started to participate in youth competitions, zonal competitions and general art exhibitions.
He started his career as a painter doing figurative paintings. Then he focused in color which took over, his pieces are marked with influences of abstract art, depicting landscapes that he creates while playing with the colors and with aerial and linear perspectives, all in one harmonious expression.
Maestro Nikolay Yanakiev has successfully sold paintings on Sotheby's and Christie's auctions. Numerous other artworks of the artist have been sold around the world.
A certificate of authenticity of the artwork is delivered by Snow Pearl art gallery.

André Lanskoy was born Andrei Michailovich Lanskoy in Moscow in 1902, the son of Count Lanskoy. The family moved to St. Petersburg in 1909 and in 1918 he moved to Kiev, where he made his first paintings. During the Russian Civil War Lanskoy fought in the Tsarist White Army but after an injury moved to Constantinople and in 1921 arrived in Paris where he stayed for the rest of his life.
