About the Item
In Pulsation of Time, the artist turns to the technique of impulsive gesture, intertwining it with delicate, translucent glazing. The multilayered texture forms a space that seems to breathe with the centuries: the paint settles in strata, like layers of earth preserving traces of memory.
Soft sandy ochres intertwine with cool gray-blues and barely perceptible crimson accents. This chromatic dialogue evokes a sense of antiquity, as if the surface of the canvas itself carries the secret imprints of time.
The composition awakens associations with cities and landscapes that once existed and have since dissolved into history, leaving only a fragile echo in memory. While a landscape may be suggested, the work transcends mere depiction — it becomes a metaphorical state, an intimate reflection on eternity and the pulsation of life that binds nature, history, and humanity into one continuous rhythm.
