Olha Vlasova
Blooming love, Romanticization series

2025

About the Item

This painting symbolizes reciprocity in relationships, emphasizing that true love cannot exist without the cooperation and equal contribution of both partners. It illustrates the concept of love as the union of the efforts and desires of two individuals, together creating something greater than the mere sum of two halves. ROMANTICIZATION SERIES The "Romanticization" series is an artistic call to rediscover harmony and love in your own life by shifting your focus. Sometimes circumstances unfold beyond our control, leaving us powerless to change their course. Yet life is unique and unrepeatable, and every moment deserves to be filled with meaning and joy. Romanticizing the everyday is a practice that helps cultivate inner peace, notice small pleasures, and appreciate the uniqueness of each moment. It brings a new sparkle to our daily lives, adorns them with warmth and tenderness, and invites us to embrace the present with love and gratitude. ABOUT ARTIST Olha Vlasova is a Ukrainian artist who has been passionate about painting since childhood. She received her higher art education in Kyiv in the field of fine painting and costume design, which has greatly influenced her work. As an artist, Olha focuses her research on conveying the personal experiences of women who encounter condescension and diminution of their value because of their sensitivity and femininity. She conveys that the concepts of femininity and seriousness, playfulness and rationality are not mutually exclusive and can coexist. Olha speaks about the self-worth and self-sufficiency of women and the deep perception of one's own femininity. She has extensive artistic experience and her works are in private collections in the USA, Norway, Denmark, France and Ukraine.
