Seascape Painting
I visited Sa Colobra on a very hot August day. The sea looked so inviting framed by the rocks. It was an incredible colour aqua and deliciously cool to swim in.
I under painted the canvas with a fine acrylic Wallace Seymour Magenta and then used a range of their colour so to build up the painting. Because the paint is so fine you can see traces of the under painting creating the warmth of the day.

I visited Badia Pollenca several times during August, my favorite time being first thing in the morning when I had the beach to myself. The views of the distant mountains were a hazy purple as were the shadows along the beach.
I under painted the canvas with a fine acrylic Wallace Seymour Magenta and then used a range of their colours to build up the painting. Because the paint is so fine you can see traces of the under painting highlighting the contrast of the shade.
