Ramtin Zad
Untitled - Flower Garden by Ramtin Zad

2012

About the Item

Zad's works are collector items. Rebecca Anne Proctor is a writer for Canvas Magazine. She writes: "Highly animated with exaggerated expressions, the subjects of Zad’s work are drawn largely from Persian literature, folklore and miniatures presenting at once a fusion of reality and the subconscious. Zad guides us into a serendipitous encounter with our own reality; things may look one way on the surface, when in actual fact the human motifs, thoughts and feelings are much different. The artist thus leaves visual clues within his oeuvre in order for us to decipher the meaning for ourselves." This vibrant oil painting by Ramtin Zad, measuring 59 inches by 78 inches, bursts with energy and life. The composition captures an abundant, flourishing scene of flowers, fruits, and greenery, blending the natural world with artistic expression. The dynamic brushstrokes and overlapping forms create a sense of movement, as if the elements are alive and thriving in an untamed garden. The color palette is rich and intense, dominated by vivid reds, yellows, greens, and touches of earthy tones. The bold red flowers contrast beautifully with the warm yellows of the fruits, while the greens weave through the composition, providing harmony and depth. The cool blue tones in the background add a sense of openness and airiness, balancing the vivid warmth of the foreground. Emotionally, this painting evokes joy, vitality, and a celebration of nature's beauty. The chaotic yet harmonious arrangement suggests growth, abundance, and the interconnectedness of life. There’s a playful, almost whimsical quality to the scene, inviting the viewer to lose themselves in its lush and energetic world. It feels exuberant, lively, and optimistic, capturing the essence of nature in its most vibrant form.

REFLECTIONS 1 - Contemporary Atmospheric Landscape, Modern Seascape Painting
By Grzegorz Wójcik
Located in Salzburg, AT
A few words of the artist about his art: When i painting landscapes, I usually choose simple geometric arrangements, contrasts of verticals and levels. I juxtapose the smooth surface of the sky with the rough texture of earth or grass. I paint symmetrical reflections in water and rhythmic repetitions of trees. Even an ordinary, seemingly uninteresting fragment of the suburban landscape hides a beauty that I want to see and then transfer to the canvas. I am inspired by nature because it contains a hidden secret of existence. For me, painting it is a reflection on life and passing away. It is an attempt to capture the imperceptible essence, to paint what cannot be seen. I think that my paintings can be a respite, an antidote for a man tired of technology, constant rush, hustle and bustle of the city. Grzegorz Wójcik...
