This elegant and compelling modernist color field painting was realized by the esteemed contemporary artist Rebecca Allan in the United States circa 2017. Rendered in an expressionistic style- full of dynamism and verve- the piece entitled "Harlem River Eclipse" expresses (as the title suggests) both the frenetic energy of New York City and the sublimity of the natural world.
