Robert David Gilmore was born in MA in 1935 and in 1964, received his Master’s of Fine Arts from Boston University. For 49 years he was a professor of Art at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA.
Gilmore was inspired by Jackson Pollock and other Abstract Expressionists. His paintings often included forms and ideas that he found within landscapes.
Gilmore died in Spokane, WA in 2016.
