About the Artist
Artist Russell Jacobs explores the delicate balance between structured composition and abstract expression. His artworks evolve organically, characterized by flowing lines, interlocking shapes, and vibrant colors. Russell prefers to paint spontaneously, consciously avoiding direct visual or written references. "I maintain ambiguity in my subject matter, providing viewers with a wider range of interpretation and content," says Russel. He switches between different acrylic-based media, with each decision influencing the subsequent ones in his paintings. His home studio in Las Vegas provides a comfortable and efficient space where he creates under natural light. When he is not making art, Russell finds joy in traveling and exploring the works of other creative individuals.
