Arizona artist Gail Titus paints vibrant abstract compositions in acrylic on canvas with a focus on texture and color. The geometric planes of her artworks and the texture in her movements are boldly hatched in contours of energetic brushstrokes. After working as a ceramic artist for more than twenty years creating wall sculptures and commissioned installation work, Gail Titus has been focusing more extensively into pursuing her long time interest in abstract painting. Her detailed studies of abstract painting techniques lead Gail Titus to develop works on canvas using acrylic paint and a carefully chosen mix of unconventional tools and techniques. The primary focus has been on surface development and exploring textures. Her artworks have been acquired by corporations and private collectors throughout the United States, Canada and Australia.
