Impasto-painted strokes of bright colors are the framework of artist Shiri Phillips’ abstract artworks. Her paintings are flooded with texture through the layering of acrylic paint in fluent brushstrokes. Inspired by the vibrant surroundings she found growing up on the Mediterranean and the Southern Californian Coast, Phillips is driven by the philosophy of “color is life”. Her works have been influenced by impressionism and the geometric nature of graphic design. This one-of-a-kind acrylic textural painting on canvas measures 48 inches high by 24 inches wide.
