Shyun Song
Faith, Abstract Oil Painting

2025

About the Item

Artist Comments
A yellow line floats inside a white square, both set against a blue background. The sharp geometry and minimal colors create a sense of balance. In this abstract painting, artist Shyun Song reflects that open-mindedness is crucial in the spiritual journey. When we embrace all experiences in life, good or bad, they make us humble and let us believe that an invisible, underlying order is at work.

About the Artist
Artist Shyun Song brings her unique perspective on life and human experiences to her creations, using shapes, lines, and color to illustrate abstract concepts and elements of psychology. "I let my intuition dictate a geometric composition by applying my symbolic logic," says Shyun. Her artistic journey has evolved from capturing emotions to exploring imagined naturescapes and conceptual paintings that delve into the inner lives of people. In her minimalistic New York studio, Shyun listens to her favorite British comedy podcasts while immersing herself in the creative process. In her spare time, she indulges in binge-watching European television series, reading books, and staying updated on daily world news.
