About the Item
Mixed media oil paint and linseed dipped charcoal on canvas, in this calming, soothing and engaging large-scale atmospheric work of art by Sophie Dixon. The paint is applied fairly thinly. The artist used her fingers to paint the upper section of blue, and the lines and dots below.
The artist was experimenting with combining drawing and painting techniques with the Transposition series. There are layers of white paint applied with brushes, fingers, and palette knife. A beautiful, peaceful and quiet work of art.
Ready to hang and enjoy. Framing is not required. 72 x 84 inches.
