Mother of Pearl is a large work from Susan Bleakley and it has all the hallmarks of intricacy for which she is known and collected on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. Nacre is naturally iridescent and that quality shines through in this stunning painting. Susan is never too far from the ocean, painting in her clifftop studio or gardens and this piece reflects the very special play of colour and light that she lives and works alongside.

Susan Bleakley
We are pleased to sell works on behalf of Susan Bleakley. Susan is a multi talented British artist utilising the mediums of paint, sculpture and film. Bleakley studied at the Royal College of Art & the Falmouth College of Arts, she primarily studied sculpture although she now works in many different mediums. Her work has exhibited extensively throughout the UK, Europe and North America in mixed and solo shows.
