About the Artist:
Born in Yoshkar-Ola, Russia, Sveta Hessler's artistic journey is deeply rooted in the vibrant cultural tapestry of her childhood, enveloped in the sounds of her family's singing and the melodies of guitars and balalaikas. This rich, musical backdrop has profoundly influenced her approach to art, infusing her works with rhythm and color. Sveta pursued her early academic interests by earning a degree in Social Psychology from the University of Moscow Social-Psychology department in 1999. Seeking new horizons, she moved to the United States, where she continued her education and received a Cosmetology degree from the College of San Mateo in California in 2008. Despite her diverse educational background, Sveta's passion for art prevailed, leading her to embrace painting as her primary mode of expression. Now a self-taught artist with fifteen years of experience, Sveta excels in abstract expressionism and is renowned for her abstract spheres created using bold, bright colors and rich textures.
Sveta’s art is a celebration of life and beauty, drawing inspiration from nature, urban landscapes, cinematic narratives, and literary characters. Each stroke of her brush is an exploration of human emotions, moods, and the distinctiveness of the human spirit. Describing her art as gentle, happy, and uplifting, Sveta adds a touch of magic to each piece, transforming her canvases into vibrant stories that resonate with cheerfulness and vitality. For Sveta, painting is not just an activity but a state of happiness and a profound way to connect with the world around her, making her truly alive.

The Color of Summer - Colorful Minimalist Original Textured Abstract Painting
Located in Los Angeles, CA
Clara Berta’s acrylic and mixed-media paintings blend texture and color to create harmony, mystery, and depth on the painted surface. Her paintings transform spaces into Zen environments where one can quiet a cluttered mind and enjoy beauty every day. Clara Berta’s paintings explore themes such as the ebb and flow of memory, the significance of personal heritage, the passing of physical time, desire, grief, and love.
Color and minimal design are foundational to Berta's creations. Berta's enthusiasm for exploring and experimenting with color is contagious. "Manipulating color combinations to create vivid contrasts is an endless delight," Berta expresses. Balancing design elements with color proves both demanding and richly satisfying.
This artwork measures 36 inches high by 48 inches wide. The sides of this abstract original artwork are painted white. It is stretched, wired, and ready to hang. It may be installed vertically or horizontally. It is signed and titled by the artist on the back. Free local Los Angeles area delivery. Affordable Continental U.S. and worldwide shipping available. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included.
Clara Berta explores the collision between the old and new; destruction and rebuilding lives. She began painting as an outlet of grief; creating something beautiful as the result of loss. Through her creative practice, she has found healing and further offers her community safe spaces for troubled teens and women to heal through the meditative process of painting. Her artworks are a language, a push forward in new directions and achievements, while always inspired by history. Berta mixes minimalism with underlying texture and embraces modernism while compiling the odds and ends of her attempts to let her art speak for itself.
Her abstract works often include reminders of her travels expressed in unexpected sequences of patterns as well as distortion of perspectives and subconscious spaces. Manipulating the texture with several layers of texture paste and acrylic paint, she will work and re-work her canvases, layering textures to give added dimension, and creating works that intrigue and invite the viewer to explore not only the surface but also the inner language of the painting.
A passionate, award-winning artist of Hungarian heritage, Clara Berta's dynamic and highly textural abstract works have been exhibited and collected worldwide.
Artspace Warehouse has been representing and exhibiting Clara Berta's original artworks since 2017.
