About the Item
This abstracted painting offers glimpses of a woman's body in a burst of vibrant colors, but only if you can see her. Shades of red -- from bright hues to deep red-browns -- dominate the canvas, only to be interrupted by striking slashes of turquoise that lend a cooling effect. The woman is presented in silhouette, with her neck, face, and breasts highlighted in the same tantalizing turquoise. Slashes of metallic bronze adorn her hair, causing it to shimmer and glisten under the play of light. Initially elusive, the painting gradually reveals itself, inviting the viewer to explore and interpret its hidden form.
