Beautiful Italian Impressionist oil painting depicting these elegant and fashionable figures enjoying the delights of walking in a park. Painted with delightful Impressionist brushwork and technique and on this large scale, it is a superb example of his work.
Principe was born in Abruzzo, Italy in 1942. At an early age, he had a special interest in figure and landscape paintings. He became well-known to the public in his area through one-man shows that later attracted the attention of art critics and art lovers, not only in Italy, but throughout Europe. Today, after many years of intense and fruitful study, Tommaso Principe has acquired a very large range of admirers. He does not limit his pictorial vision to the mere representation of reality, but rather tries to capture the true essence of the subject in his paintings. Today, Tommaso Principe’s work is exhibited in important art galleries throughout Europe; Milan, Rome, Turin, Frankfurt, Paris and Amsterdam.
