We are thrilled to be able to offer this piece. Thornton works predominantly in acrylic, collage and mixed-media in a vibrant, contemporary style. Thornton's Butterfly Series in mixed-media adopts 3-D butterflies to beautifully represent scenarios, emotions, senses or actions whilst bringing additional movement to this distinctive collection. The butterflies pop out. Thornton is an incredibly acclaimed artist. Pieces include landscape and abstract work. They embrace colour in a liberated style rewarding the viewer with a sense of well being. From July 2016, Thornton has been a resident artist with Flat Space Art, Notting Hill, London. She was exhibiting locally before with Saatchi Art and Fine Art America. She is also heavily involved in the Charitable Art May 2016: the Childrens' Trust Auction, and most recently for Flat Space Art Frame the Future beneficiary at Sexy Fish, Berkeley Square, London alongside Boris Johnson and the world acclaimed photographer David Yarrow. Thornton loves how colour can make her feel and what better than a rainbow to stimulate the visual senses? Wonder wall is an explosion of colour, full of life and unabashed joy. Designed to bring a smile. The wall is a collage adorned with flowers and butterflies that can be found in most of Thornton's beautiful breathtaking pieces. A freesia and so on. Large purple alliums and vibrant pink bougainvillea. The piece is a sea of colours, shades of blue, aquamarine, azure, cobalt, cornflower, cyan, powder blue, royal blue, sapphire, sky blue, turquoise even perhaps ultramarine. Dashes of buttercup yellow, tinges and hues of pinks, crises, coral, flesh-colour, rose, salmon, shell pink, shocking pinks, lots of shades of reds, burgundy, cardinal red, cherry red, crimson, flame red, magenta. Loving the hints of red, vivid, vibrant, multicoloured, jazzy and verging on psychedelic. The bricks of the wall are on recycled magazines. Its smoulders with happiness, joy and delight. We get such pleasure, a satisfaction in looking and admiring Tracey's art works. Her works are bliss, they put you at ease and bring a piece of entertainment She is a mid career artist with potential for growth.
