Hues of blues, yellows and purples make up this surrealist piece "Metropolis #4," a visionary cityscape. Outlines of the cityscape are apparent, with vibrant colors outlining the buildings. The skies appear blue and yellow.

Travis Flack was born in Santa Rosa, California and is known for his vibrant, surrealist paintings. Originally starting out in the graffiti movement at a young age, Flack started painting murals at local skate parks. Thereafter, Flack started exhibiting his surrealist oil paintings in local exhibitions around Sonoma County. His series "Visions of the Metropolis" was displayed at Montmartre in 1997.
