Beautiful abstract organic shapes are monochromatic, ethereal paintings on canvas. A calming, pale palette of elusive layers that reveal several techniques and mediums. I am exploring the tangible, metamorphosis and decay of organic forms and the reality of not being able to stop time or inevitable change.
This series of new paintings reveal the veil between illusion and reality. Ephemeral, organic, phantasmagorical shapes are suspended in movement and fluidity as if in an inescapable thick fog transitioning through a fleeting season. It invites the viewer to question impermanence in nature.
Ultra-sensitive light filters through these layers as a symbol of faith and humble acceptance in a dark and disconnected world in an almost meditative state.
