â€Meditation" is a recent abstract expressionist oil painting on canvas by popular contemporary artist, Trixie Pitts. It is a beautiful impressionistic abstract inspired by the Caribbean. The canvas size is 92 x 92 cm (36"x36"). The painting has a soft atmospheric quality, despite the vivid blue, turquoise and teal of the palette. There is a nice texture throughout the composition that adds movement and interest. There is a lot of depth and nuance to this painting that it is hard to capture in a photograph.
