This Gorgeous and unique oil painting on panel by Julio Sendino presents a rigorous geometric composition in grayscale, with a carefully crafted visual balance between vertical and horizontal planes. The rectangular shapes and overlapping shades generate depth and volume, while the contrasts between warm and cool grays provide dynamism despite the monochromatic palette. The dark zigzag lines create visual tension at the top, suggesting a break or transition between planes. The ensemble evokes an imaginary, almost urban architecture, with echoes of constructivism and rationalist abstraction.

Julio Sendino is an artist from Valladolid whose training in drawing and painting has allowed him to develop his artistic work through various forms of expression, playing with the figurative and the abstract.
Geometric abstraction is one of the currents of abstract art, which emerged around the 1920s and is based on the use of simple geometric forms, combined in subjective compositions.
