About the Item
It is rare to see a painting by Vasa Mihich available. These works are carefully worked through and planned with the aid of Computers. Mihich will work through the sequencing of colors and shapes and often times an additional purpose or challenge he is presenting himself with these combinations.
He means for them to be aesthetic as well and visually appealing and this one is just that. The pastel colors are all of an equal tone and balance with gradient element of the darker tones moving toward the bottom of the canvas.
As with all artists who experiment with optics, they learn that as you get more distant from the painting that the colors work together to blend and make a general color that the eye perceives and as you get closer you may be surprised by the actual colors in the work.
A marvelous piece that compliments the time we live in and is future forward in that it embracing the addition of digital aid and optics.
The artist holds many of his paintings close and it would be expected that one day in the future there will be a retrospective of the paintings and sculpture.
