About the Item
This is a conceptual painting depicting sound waves and our affinity and attraction to them. The canvas was deeply textured creating the ridges and textural landscape that would later create the lights and darks of the painting. Transparent acrylic was used to let the texture show through and to also create an illusion of movement. The full tactile beauty of the texture could not be captured in a photo but is very serene and inviting when seen in person. All of my paintings are on A reinforced Gallery wrapped canvas and are ready to hang upon arrival. The lower profile or 3/4" paintings like this one can either be hung or framed.
