About the Item
This painting and this type of painting is created using tools specifically created for the work. The tools and the process are as important in this type of work as a visual or imaginary image. I always have an image in my mind and I work to achieve a homogeneous blend of that image and the natural movements of my hands and the implements that I use. Most of the tools I use I make with process in mind. This painting is about contrasts and affinity and about the way opposites compliment or complete each other. Without the black the painting is white and visa versa. The challenge is to blend the two creating as little gray as possible. I use only the highest quality Gallery Wrapped canvas and Acrylics and each painting is sealed with multiple coats of varnish to protect it from, dust, moisture and time. The sides are painted to compliment the image. All of my works are signed on the back and are ready to hang upon arrival.
