Vicky Barranguet found her own voice and colorful expression of life, emotions, and music through her studies with master painters, Larry Pons and William Scharf. Her spontaneous and daring paintings combined with other art forms led to the creation of her vibrant artistic approach.
She was awarded with a Merit Scholarship from the judges and curators of The Frick Collection and has since been the subject of solo and group exhibitions internationally. Her work can be found in private collections throughout Europe, Asia, North, Central and South America. Barranguet was born in Montevideo, Uruguay and currently lives and works in New York.
