Born in Kyiv, Ukraine, he immigrated to the United States in 2014 and established his career through a decade of creative practice between Los Angeles and Portland. His artistic journey is shaped by a dual cultural identity — rooted in his Ukrainian heritage and redefined through his life in the US — which brings a profound sense of displacement, memory, and resilience to his work. Kobylianski has been exhibited in both public and private exhibitions across New York, Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle, the United Kingdom, and Germany, building an international presence that reflects the universal resonance of his visual language. His practice is deeply engaged with questions of belonging, transition, and the negotiation of personal and collective histories. Working across painting, drawing, and mixed media, his works often reveal layered surfaces and textural contrasts that mirror the complexity of identity and migration. At once personal and universal, his pieces invite viewers into an intimate dialogue with the fragile boundaries between memory and transformation. As his career continues to grow, Kobylianski is increasingly recognized for his ability to merge raw emotional expression with a refined visual sensibility. His art not only traces a path between continents and cultures but also positions him within a broader dialogue on contemporary global narratives, making him a compelling voice in the international art scene.

Forces of Nature 25 - Textural Abstract Minimalist Artwork on Canvas
By Len Klikunas
Located in Los Angeles, CA
Artist Len Klikunas paints to modify experienced reality through visual perception. Klikunas focuses on the larger idea behind his original abstract minimalist artworks. The work is characterized by “mindful artlessness” and simplicity. Understated and subtle, the work doesn’t only refer to itself, and it doesn’t explain everything. Through a monochromatic palette and skillful manipulation of light and shadow, his artworks invite contemplation and evoke a dialogue between the viewer and the art. This 12-inch square post-minimalist artwork is wired and ready to hang. The sides of this textural artwork are painted as a continuation of the front. The artist signs the artwork on the back. Convenient delivery is available for those in the local Los Angeles area, and affordable worldwide shipping is available for US and international art collectors. A certificate of authenticity issued by the gallery is included. Born in 1944 in Chicago, Illinois, Len Klikunas is a visionary artist who mesmerizes the art world with his minimalist paintings, blurring the line between art and architecture. Klikunas achieves a serene aesthetic by masterfully blending layers of paint and expertly manipulating light and shadow. The resulting compositions on canvas exude a subtle yet profound allure, inviting viewers to engage with their senses and explore the richly textured surfaces. Len Klikunas' textural works are represented by Artspace Warehouse Los Angeles. They have been exhibited and collected throughout the world.
