Artist Voskan Galstian paints an abstract interpretation of exotic blooms. He swatches purples and reds on a vibrant turquoise landscape with full abandon. Part of his collection of channeling elements from his daily experiences in gardening and contributing them to the pieces. Voskan depicts the subjects in playful minimal strokes bursting in color.

About the Artist
When Voskan Galstian approaches a canvas, he does so with an open mind. "When I am creating art I tend to sever my mind from making decisions" he explains. His paintings show this intuitive process in their dynamic movement and unique color combinations. Voskan finds inspiration in abstract expressionism; in the vein of that style, he paints based on his deepest emotions. Many people have expressed that they feel a connection with his work - in some cases, it soothes them. When he's not making art, you can find Voskan traveling or reading about geography.
