"This piece was inspired by the passion of red, the fleeting feeling of yellow, and the overall peaceful tone of grey," shares artist Voskan Galstian. A cool and calm palette of bluish greys layered with energetic streaks of fiery red, orange, yellow, and pink. "The red and blue play is balanced by the yellow which creates a peaceful harmony."

About the Artist
When Voskan Galstian approaches a canvas, he does so with an open mind. "When I am creating art I tend to sever my mind from making decisions" he explains. His paintings show this intuitive process in their dynamic movement and unique color combinations. Voskan finds inspiration in abstract expressionism; in the vein of that style, he paints based on his deepest emotions. Many people have expressed that they feel a connection with his work - in some cases, it soothes them. When he's not making art, you can find Voskan traveling or reading about geography.
