Who let the dogs out? The five feisty hounds romp and jump and tease one another in utter joy, or is it pandemonium? It's almost impossible to imagine their upcoming transition as they lead the chase in the highly regimented fox hunt. The fields of green grass, speckled with overgrown wild flowers are the perfect playground for these hounds to catch the scent, with so many stories to tell! Heading due west from NYC to escape the hustle and bustle of city living and arrive in time for the afternoon milking was quite a trek for the American aristocrats who built the estates of the New Jersey Somerset Hills during the Great Depression. Whether arriving by horse and carriage, train or motorcar, the festivities never ceased once there, overlooking the bucolic farms and farmland, resplendent with with some of the most elaborate homes and estates in the country.
