Specializing in equine art Arenys Galdon has had his works exhibited in Barcelona, Madrid, Lisbon, Paris, and other major cities. He has also earned medals for top placings in the 1945 National Exhibition in Madrid and the 1955 National Exhibition of Fine Art in Madrid. In this picture Arenys Galdon captures the horses pre race and you can see the jockeys conversing with each other before hand. Arenys Galdon does not only do horse racing but he does paint hunt scenes that are also popular in the equine world.

As a member of the Society of Equestrian Artists (SEA) and the American Academy of Equine Art, Roy is an artist of international repute. Roy began work as a professional artist at the age of 14 while studying in the evenings at Manchester College of Art. In the early 1960s he moved to London and worked as a freelance artist and illustrator. He has had many exhibitions including the Royal Academy, but the turning point of his career was in 1972 when he visited a racecourse and fell in love with the ‘sport of kings’.
