Abstract. Philosophical. Colorful.
As this piece evolved, we had a huge argument. I took a dark color, maddeningly placed it on the brush with great abandon and swiped it across the piece.
I stepped back and found the point of the work. Play. Dream. Bring them together.
Suddenly the work evolved into a hint at music, a guitar, an island, even a blend of the two.
Whatever your dream, this work invites you to play with it. Don’t let it die.
The bright sky so clearly blue as a background, entices your senses like the clearest bluest sky.
The contrasting reds, yellows and even purples express both the loss of the dream and the utterance of it, almost at once.
