This canvas wanted to interconnect with the Y Ching AKA I Ching.
It is termed the Chinese Book of Changes. It is one of the main books of the spiritual pathway known as Daoism (Taoism).
Since change is how existence exists. This book helps the follower find ways to cope with change in healthy and productive ways.
I threw the pennies to find this hexagram. 34. It represents that the change happening requires great strength.
Thus, this hexagram is a warning and encouragement all in the same work.
In order to more truly express the simplicity of the advice, this work is done in flat tones and with a flat varnish. No sparkle. No shine. Just motivation in its simplest form: Great Strength

Her work is characterized by bold colors, since she is mainly color-blind and needs bold colors to see the work. Arlette’s philosophical nature is the basis for her work. Every work is the result of a conversation she has had with canvas, paints and colors.
