• Pop art / anti-war art from the wild 60s
• Most likely to be Swiss school
• Oil on chipboard, approx. 85 x 77.5 x 1.5 cm
• Signed & dated 1968 on the back
• The painting is in good condition commensurate with its age (Some minor scuffs a & stains)
• With the painting is a currently detached, round cardboard vignette with a martial photo collage, the four inconspicuous mounting holes of which are still present. The vignette could easily be fixed firmly back in place, as the artist probably originally intended (see main photo with temporary pins). I took over the painting with the vignette detached - the previous owner had probably removed it.
• Nothing concrete is known about the artist - One opinion is that it could have something to do with the theologian Alois Müller - Well, the title certainly sounds a bit theological ...
