Occupied is an original oil painting on canvas, realized in the 2000s by the emerging artist Anastasia Kurakina. Signature, title, technique, on the back.  Very good conditions.  Hand-signed on the lower left margin. This beautiful artwork represents a pensive man and with a melancholy expression on a little boat. ANASTASIA KURAKINA was born in 1987 in Moscow (Russia). She studied in Moscow and in Rome. At present, she lives and works in Paris, London, Monte Carlo, Milan, Moscow, and Rome. Her psychologically analytical works are a kind of art fables. A simple image or object from life transforms into a metaphora of life itself in her paintings. Her portraits and graphic works are philosophical essence of visible and seeming reality.
