About the Item

The painting features a dark black background with a textured, matte finish, giving it a deep, somber tone. Centered on the canvas is a skull-shaped form crafted with small broken green pieces of glass, arranged in a mosaic-like surface. With a unique process done by the artist meticulously, the skull has a hollow eye socket and nasal cavity, with edges that reveal a golden underlayer, suggesting decay an elegant effect. The contrast between the skull and the dark background creates a striking, minimalist composition, evoking themes of mortality or fragility.
