About the Item
Original canvas.
Beautiful ancient frame in carved, sculpted, gilded wood.
The painter illustrates the famous iconography of "The Virgin with the Child and Angels". We can have a look to the Virgin and her blue intense veil and how she's looking for the sleeping Child. There are also all around some angels to admire them. Cerrini was used to create delicate and lovely characters, against his time's trends before his changements. So this is a beautiful example of his typical style.
