About the Item
We are proud to present for the first time in more than thirty years, the original painting of American artist Peter Korling.
Peter Korling was classically trained at the Chicago Institute of Art, and then moved to New York where he became a member of the Art Students League. He settled in California where he worked and exhibited throughout his life.
"Louis" is an original oil on canvas, depicting the famed trumpet player/entertainer Louis Armstrong. This is an original oil on canvas, signed, painted c.1990, with an image dimension of 24 x 48 inches, offered in good original condition, currently unframed. The painting was acquired from eh private collection of the artist and his family.
