Rebecca Jack, an intuitive painter, creates vibrant, figurative works that highlight the beauty of imperfection through visible layering, expressive brush work and mark-making. Her figures are bold, yet vulnerable, exuding a quiet confidence and self-reflective quality. Jack’s painterly style, use of line, exploration of color and shape are defining elements in her work. Her paintings offer a peak into the imaginative world of the subject’s deepest thoughts and feelings. Catching moments of truth where no one is looking. Abstracting interior and exterior spaces in conjunction with the figure are common themes she uses to investigate and ponder the inner world of a person. Approaching her work thru the lens of spatial constructs and human nature, in essence, Jack is a “soul painter”. Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, Rebecca is a self-taught artist. Coming from an artistic household, Rebecca has been painting and drawing all her life. She has a degree in Interior design from the University of Tennessee. After many years as a designer, she left her design career to pursue her art full time. Her art has been featured in Architectural Digest and Atlanta Homes magazine as well as been in designer showhouses throughout the southeast.

The patient waiting for Bresson's “decisive moment” characterizes the pictures of the young Polish painter Marzena Slusarczyk. The compositions of her works have the magic of a successful photography. Often with a powerful neckline, they use expressive foreshortened perspectives and unusual versions and they take us into an intimate dimension of the women portrayed.
However, Slusarczyk's pictures are mainly emotions captured on canvas, and this is what makes her works so special. The women she paints perform normal, banal activities in everyday life. But they are the key to reading the feelings of the female figures lost in thought. The lack of clarity in the artist's pictures allows the viewer to make their own interpretations. As the painter herself emphasizes, the aim of playing with the audience is to awaken the viewer's imagination and imagination so that they notice the seemingly invisible.
