Lovely portrait of a cobbler at work by Max Schneider (German, 1903-1980). The shoemaker is holding a hammer, working on an upturned shoe at his bench. He is wearing a white shirt, green apron, and glasses.
Signed "M Schneider" in the upper right corner.
Presented in a gilded frame.
