James Zamora's original figurative realism artworks explore reality and our impression of the complexity of our surroundings. His realistic still-life and “aisle paintings” are well-known throughout the US. Using different spatial compositions the artist translates common marketplace food imagery into a stylized, elevated environment. Working in oil on canvas, he explores the representation of elements that surround us in daily life in unexpected still lifes. Zamora's artworks examine the particularity between the relationship of our eyes with the subtleties of our immediate reaction. His paintings investigate current supermarket trends and the response of the consumer captivated by the abundance of delightful choices. This original 24 inch high by 18 inch wide oil on canvas painting is wired and ready to hang. The sides are painted pink and it does not require framing.
