About the Item

James Zamora's realistic “aisle paintings” are well-known throughout the US. Using different spatial compositions the artist translates common marketplace food imagery into a stylized, elevated environment. Working in oil on canvas, he explores the representation of elements that surround us in daily life in unexpected still lifes. Zamora's artworks examine the particularity between the relationship of our eyes with the subtleties of our immediate reaction. His paintings investigate current supermarket trends and the response of the consumer captivated by the abundance of delightful choices. This one-of-a-kind 24 inch high by 36 inch wide oil on canvas painting is wired and ready to hang. It is signed on the back of the canvas. The sides of this original artwork are painted grey and it does not require framing. A certificate of authenticity issued by the gallery is included. Free local Los Angeles area delivery. Zamora is an American artist who earned his BFA in painting and drawing from The University of North Texas in 2010, followed by an MFA in painting from Texas Woman's University in 2015.
