About the Item
The artist Jacques Majorelle commissioned a working studio to be built in the Majorelle garden which he was establishing. The architecture of the studio blends art deco themes with vernacular moorish styles. Surrounding the studio is a terrace which overlooks the garden and from which this view was made.
The Jardin Majorelle in Marrakesh is a favourite subject of the artist Alan Halliday and we have more paintings of it. Please contact us for further details if you would like to see these other paintings.
