Alison works in oil, acrylic and mixed media and really explores the limits of the paint, developing surface textures and sheer layers of glaze. She is often out painting the landscape around her Hampshire studio and has regular painting trips to Cornwall, soaking up its dramatic coastlines, which provide a great source of inspiration.
