Alli Wood is a progressive female photographer and gallery owner of Oficino Uno. Since a young age she has been interested in the arts; drawing, photography and drama. At thirteen she was gifted her grandfather’s 35mm camera, it was also the year her school offered photography and thus began her fascination with the darkroom process. Excitement grew with each developed photograph. In her twenties she traveled to over 30 countries where her experiences led to deeper personal interpretations of the people she met. In 1993 she settled in Carmel, California USA. where she started photographing female fine art nudes. The inspiration is to create beautiful classic and sensual images of the woman's body.
Alli currently uses a twin lens Rolleiflex and hand prints photographs. Her images emit a vintage feel. Many have made reference as memories of Steiglitz, Horst, and Bravo.
