Andrey Dmitriev is a professional artist, Member of International Association of Art, the head of the arts department of the State Professional Educational Institution «Yelets State Institute of Culture after T.N. Khrennikov», Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation.
A. Dmitriev is a recognized and respected artist, a painter from a calling, love for nature, honesty and sincerity, an artist from an inner urge. He performs his creative works mainly in the technique of oil painting.
The heritage and traditions of Russian landscape painting, pays most attention to the creation of a lyrical landscape, the so-called imressionistic landscape. His compositions are full of air, life, special soulful poetry. These are not just landscapes captured at a certain time of year, but precisely selected motifs, heartfelt and brought to an artistic image.
